Where they go in around Hillsboro
Hillsboro's housing runs newer than most of the metro's, and a lot of it came with decks and second-floor balconies wearing the builder's standard wood railing. Glass panels are a common replacement once that wood starts to weather, and on new construction the glass can simply go in from the start. How the project runs
The first visit is a measure, and it ends with a written estimate at no charge. Tempered glass can't be trimmed after the fact, so every panel is fabricated to the numbers we take on site. The panels arrive cut, drilled, and tempered, and they either fit or they don't, which is why the measuring gets the care it does.
Fabrication is the wait in the middle of the project. That's the one piece of planning advice we'd give anyone building a deck or remodeling a stairwell: get the measure on the calendar early, so the glass lands when the project is ready for it instead of weeks after. The install itself is the short end of the timeline, and we schedule it as soon as the panels are in hand. If a deck builder or remodeler is running the job, have them call us directly; trading exact numbers builder to builder keeps the glass right the first time.
