One broken window is a real job here
If it can't wait, the emergency line answers nights and weekends at (503) 887-8329. If it can, the pages below show you where to start.
What we fix around the house
Window repair and replacement
The biggest part of our residential work: cracked panes, broken door glass, fogged double-panes, and full replacements when a frame is past saving. Start at the window repair and replacement page.
Shower doors
Glass for bathroom remodels, framed through frameless, with the final measure taken once your tile is in. The shower door installation page covers the options and the process.
Glass railings
Tempered panels for decks, staircases, and balconies. The glass railing page explains the systems and the safety side.
Emergencies and board-ups
When a broken window can't stay open to the weather overnight, the emergency glass repair page explains how a late-night break gets boarded, measured, and scheduled.
"Brandon and his crew are fantastic! They were prompt, professional and very good about communication."

What it's like to have us out
Glass work in a home means letting a crew through your front door, so we keep the visit easy to plan around: a scheduled time, a careful measure, and updates while your glass is on order. Small jobs go smoothest when you know exactly when someone is coming, so that's the part we're strictest about.
The crew stays small on purpose. The person who measures your opening is part of the job when the glass goes in, so nothing gets lost between the quote and the install.
How a service call goes
Start with a call
Call (503) 887-8329 or send the quote form. Describe it as plainly as you like; "cracked bedroom window" covers it. You don't need to know glass types or sizes.
We measure and quote
We come to the house, measure the opening, and leave a written estimate at no charge. If you go ahead, the glass is ordered cut to those measurements.
Install day
The old glass comes out, the new glass goes in, and the broken pieces leave with us.
A few quick questions
Will you come out for just one window?
Yes. Single-window calls are most of this work, and they're treated as full jobs: a measure visit, a written quote, a scheduled install.
Do I need a whole new window, or just the glass?
Often just the glass, and on fogged double-panes, often just the sealed unit inside the frame. The window repair page walks through when each makes sense.
My windows are older. Is that a problem?
Usually not. Portland houses come in every age, and the measure visit is how we find out what your opening needs. If a frame is past holding new glass, the estimate will say so and lay out the options.
How fast can you get here?
Tell us what's going on when you call. Glass that's open to the weather moves to the front of the line, the emergency line runs around the clock, and either way you'll get a firm date rather than a vague window.
If something's broken at your place
Call (503) 887-8329, or send the quote form and we'll call you. One conversation puts the measure on the calendar, and from there the glass is our problem instead of yours. Clear Works Glass, SE Portland. Free estimates. Oregon CCB #261682, bonded and insured.
